It's been a long time since there was an American-made superbike, and even longer since one was actually competitive against Japanese and European rivals. The RX, for the record, picks up where the carbon-clad and ultra-exclusive 1190RS (priced at $40,000) left off, but it slashes that price by more than half and feels far more refined than the homologation RS ever was.
