It’s the night before Christmas and all through the house not a… oops, let’s start over. It’s the night before the Senior TT and all across The Isle, race fans are excited and racers are anxious. Nothing more can be done. No further preparations can be made. It’s time to put it all on the line. Will Michael Dunlop come across the line first and sweep the TT?
This year, the racing has been amazing, albeit with one oddity: John McGuinness hasn’t stood atop the podium. Many expected the living legend to win his 20th TT, something he didn’t have the chance to do last year, when poor weather conditions prompted the unprecedented cancellation of the Senior TT. Thus far this year, however, the best McGuinness has finished is second.
If you’ve been watching the television coverage at home, the Senior TT should be a cracker. If you haven’t been watching, well, make sure you tune in. You’ll get a broad perspective of the race; I see only the action in bits and bobs from whatever location I happen to be shooting. Come to think of it, I’m feeling a bit anxious myself.
