Suzuki Boulevard Cruisers - First Look

Like a B.O.S.S.: Blacked-out C50, C90 and M109 join the dark side.

Did Suzuki get a bulk buy on black paint? Probably, but it doesn’t make the proliferation of B.O.S.S. models any less cool. In case you don’t remember, B.O.S.S. stands for “Blacked Out Special Suzuki,” and three additional models get the treatment, joining the new-for-2013 Suzuki Boulevard C90T B.O.S.S. that debuted earlier this year.

The C90 B.O.S.S. arrives as a 2013 model and it is identical to its C90T sibling, but stripped of that model’s touring-oriented windscreen and factory hard bags. No brainer, right?

The newer news is a pair of early-release 2014 models: The blacked-out theme has now been applied to the C50, Suzuki’s best-selling Boulevard model. True to form, says Suzuki, “What was chrome is now abundantly black.” Same goes for the 2014 M109 B.O.S.S., although it gets a Marble Daytona Yellow racing stripe along its spine, plus matching wheel pinstriping.

Expect the new B.O.S.S. models to cast darker shadows upon dealership floors in late July, pricing to be determined.
