ParkinGo Press Release:
Day to remember for ParkinGO MV Agusta Corse. A first session of free practice full of red flags has shown immediately a good potential of the MV F3 675. Even though the riders that have suffered the interruptions, Rolfo has managed to get in top ten and Iddon is been looking for the right set up.
On qualifying though the riders have performed an excellent session to bring up the morale of the team, working in a new project.
The 9th place of Rolfo on the free practice with 1.35.091 has been improved to 3rd place to 1.34.081 cutting 1 second of his best time in the morning. There is still a gap to get to first position but the feelings are very positive.
Christian Iddon, on his first day of debut, has worked on his set up, 18th with a time of 1.35.816 on the morning free practice.
Very different on the first qualifying, where the Bristish rider has cut 1.3 seconds of the morning session, 1.34.551 putting already his name on the top ten.
Roberto Rolfo:
I am very satisfied. The bike has improved a lot during these days thanks as well to the great work of the team. The pace has been good and has allowed us to be on the front. Tomorrow will be another battle but I would like to try a few different things for race day. The goal is to keep today’s position n have a good start on Sunday.
I am really happy of today. I have crashed in the morning but the feeling overall is good. Tomorrow will be a difficult day as the riders that have crashed today will try to get the time for Sunday’s race, but I will battle to stay within the top ten. My goal anyway for this weekend is to bring home some points.
Giuliano Rovelli:
To have good results from Friday is good because it makes the team understand they are on the right path but what it counts is Sunday. We still have a long way to go but for sure today has been an excellent way to introduce ourselves.
