Coming off the back of a five year relationship with Harley Davidson, Solebay Music is set to release the ‘The Harley Davidson Sessions’.
This previously unavailable collection of songs used exclusively for Harley Davidson’s Ad Campaigns is set for release in December. Fans of the Harley adverts have been calling for the music to be released as they dream of riding to the roadworthy tunes.
Combining a mixture of musical styles, the EP opens with the song ‘Desert Songs’. The solo guitar piece emphasizes the sometime feeling of loneliness on the bike. Moving in a rather different direction, ‘Full Steam Ahead’ has an almost constant beat and a minimal synth melody driving the song. Elsewhere, ‘Time To Ride’ is a toe-tapping, rugged indie-rock piece and ‘You Keep Lifting Me Higher’ comes in three different versions – acoustic, rock and rockabilly – each evoking a change in feeling.
