Corbin Introduces Saddle and Trunk for BMW K1600

Corbin Press Release:

Corbin is proud to introduce a new front saddle and Smuggler trunk for the BMW K1600 GT and GTL. For those who tour solo or commute on the K16, the Smuggler trunk provides enough space that many commuters may choose to ride daily without the BMW’s saddlebags. Designed to follow the lines of the GT and flow with the body for a deceptively small appearance, the Smuggler is color matched to Factory color-ways.

Smuggler provides a very clean solo look and gives added rider comfort up front. Deceptively small in appearance… Pop open the door and you have access to over 15 liters of locking storage space. Use Smuggler for just about anything you want secure and have easy access to…iPads, Netbooks, cell phones, etc. Smuggler comes fully lined to help protect your cargo and cushion some of the road noise and the door opening is fully weather stripped to guard against foul weather as well.

Smuggler is hand-finished and painted with quality materials from companies like PPG and House of Colors (varies by color selected). Uniquely engineered, front saddle and Smuggler install on the bike as one piece with a Corbin latch system. All required brackets included.

Up front, the enhanced ergonomics create a perch that provides long range comfort. For those chilly morning rides, the new seat includes electric heat that works with the BMW’s integrated controller.

The bucket is dished to emulate the shape of your body and provide eight inches of vertical back support. This gives excellent comfort for longer range. Neutralized seating helps to curb sliding in the saddle which greatly reduces rider fatigue. Italian leather is used on this upgraded seat which breaths and conforms to your body. Available in a wide range of color options.

Corbin Front Seat/Smuggler-Painted MSRP:

$987.00
