Bored models They can’t always strike a pose.

If you have ever been to the EICMA show in Milan, you can’t help but notice the dozens of beautiful models. This year, there must have been one sitting on every bike in every booth. Some of them attract more attention than the motorcycles; others look like they would rather be somewhere else. Until you point a camera at them, that is.

One of our favorite things to do this year between bike unveilings was to attempt to photograph models while they weren’t striking a pose. Even after four days, surely tired and longing for a break, most of them were complete pros. So, we were only able to capture a few looking bored and wishing they didn’t have to smile anymore.

Obviously, not everyone was as excited to be at EICMA as we were.

Thanks CW, for all of the adds during the “Bored Model” slideshow. At least I know what products to buy now . . . . .I was so lost before.

    Enduro360 RULES!!!

What? Has the industry been lying to me? Bikes were supposed to excite women. I was told by many ads bikes=women. All I had to do was stand near one. . .

Pardon me, mi amor is getting angry that I’m wasting face time perusing Cycle World posts. Seems she prefers my words to my moto-tough-aura.

Yes dear. (Ah, my true passion is a gutsy Mexican girl who scares me worse than 140mph in traffic)

Wow! At first I thought that this story was going to be about stock production models with mechanically enlarged cans – and I was right.

I’m amazed these shows even have models anymore. They just get in the way, they’re usually not friendly or even know about the products they’re sitting on and how many times you gonna hear some jackpine say, “Do you come with the bike/car? Heeeyuk Yuk Yuk….”
