I own a Teiz Power Shell – the one piece version of the Navigator – and I’m really pleased with it. Compared to my old Roadcrafter, the fit is better, armor is superb, and ventilation is greatly improved. It’s also more flexible at lower temperatures with the optional liner. I’m in Dallas and I’ve worn it from 30 degrees up over 100. That’s tremendous versatility, especially considering that my suit is entirely black.

My main complaint is with the arm strap mechanisms. Teiz switched to a velcro strap, instead of the buttons pictured above, and it simply doesn’t work well. The upper arm strap can’t get tight enough without tailoring.

Beyond that, though, I’m happy. Teiz makes a great product and, with their recent pricing changes, a tremendous value in the market.
