I had a 2010 Z1000, and it was a blast to ride. I wish they could have reduced the exhaust size and weight, though, because it seemed excessive. It was a pain to lube the chain because the exhaust got in the way enough that I was left with about 4-6 inches of chain I could lube at a time. My other big complaints are: the seat was crap and had too much forward lean for a standard, and the suspension was way too track oriented for a street bike.
