ConqueRR Update: Last Call for Tickets!

Since Cycle World, Roland Sands Design and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation/Ride for Kids debuted the Project ConqueRR Honda CBR1000RR at the Long Beach Cycle World International Motorcycle Show, there’s been huge interest in the bike. How much? To date, over $75,000 has been raised to help combat pediatric brain tumors, a record for a Cycle World RfK raffle. And much of that support has come from CW readers. Thanks.

But the clock has almost run out. On May 1, a lucky winner will be selected out of the thousands and thousands of entries. And there’s no reason a last-minute ticket buyer won’t ride home on this luscious—and speedy—RSD creation.

But just because so much money has been raised doesn’t mean the fight is over. Ride for Kids National Director Kyle Clack explained at the unveiling the urgency for raising funds and awareness to fight this devastating childhood disease. “Each day nine children are diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor,” he said. “That’s nine families, nine communities affected. Through efforts like this, RfK has raised over $37 million dollars for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation—the largest non-government provider of funding for research into the cause and cure of this disease.”

Ya gotta be in it to win it, so go to www.rideforkids.org to purchase a ticket today. They’re $5 each or five for $20.
