There is still time to enter the drawing to win the “The Mission,” the one-of-a-kind Honda CBR1000RR that Roland Sands Design customized for the 2008–2009 Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows to benefit the Ride for Kids program. But you better hurry!
“A new look…aggressive, yet clean,” is how Sands describes the bike.
This year marks the ninth consecutive year of Cycle World project motorcycles built for Ride for Kids. Partners this year include American Honda, which generously donated a new CBR1000RR, customizer Roland Sands Design and Advanstar Communication, organizer of the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows, where the bike was displayed.
Tickets to win the Mission CBR are available on the Ride for Kids website until midnight EST on April 30, 2009. You can get one ticket for $5 or five for $20. The lucky winner’s name will be drawn at 4 p.m. on May 1 at the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation headquarters in Asheville, North Carolina. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated by Ride for Kids to the PBTF.
Ride for Kids is a national motorcyclists’ program that supports the fight against childhood brain tumors. It also supports families of children with brain tumors with free educational literature and newsletters, online conferences and college scholarships.
