Yamaha gave us the opportunity to ride the all-new YZ250FX in East Coast off-road conditions when they held the intro for the bike at Randy Hawkins’ private ranch in Union, South Carolina. It filled in some of the small gaps the bike was missing to make it a better off-the-showroom-floor competition model.”

The Yamaha YZ250FX was overhauled for 2020, enjoying many of the changes its motocross-oriented YZ250F counterpart received in 2019. The most notable updates include a completely revised engine that is now capable of being wirelessly tuned via a smartphone, revised suspension settings, a new frame, and slimmer bodywork.
